*Course Contents and Targets
*Foundation/Beginner

Students will acquire the basics for daily conversation, and learn reading and writing skills.

[Course Contents:]
  • Pronunciation
  • Hiragana/Katakana
  • Kanji
  • Basic vocabulary
  • Basic grammar
  • Daily conversation
  • Composition
  • Reading comprehension

*Pre-Intermediate

Students will develop their conversation skills to cope with more complex situations in their daily life. They will study essay-writing styles, and learn to speak or write logically about a certain theme.

[Course Contents:]
  • Vocabulary (Equivalent to Level 2 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test)
  • Grammar (Equivalent to Level 2 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test)
  • Conversation
  • Composition and essay-writing
  • Reading and Listening Comprehension
  • Intensive preparation for the EJU exam

*Intermediate

Students will acquire more advanced communication skills for daily conversation, student life and business practice. They will further develop their reading comprehension skills and vocabulary in order to understand explanatory notes. They will also be able to write sentences systematically and express their opinions logically.

[Course Contents:]
  • Vocabulary (Equivalent to Level 2 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test)
  • Grammar (Equivalent to Level 2 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test)
  • Conversation
  • Composition and essay-writing
  • Reading and Listening comprehension
  • Japanese Current Affairs
  • Intensive preparation for the EJU exam
  • Intensive preparation for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test

*Advanced

Students will acquire a high-level, practical knowledge of Japanese to help them communicate fluently with other people in their daily life. Based on total Japanese language ability, students will be able to comprehend classes on post-graduate courses, and improve their writing skills.
