Is the basic Japanese language ability required for the admission?
The level of JLPT N5 is required. (150 hours or more)
Is there a dormitory?
We prepare apartment type dormitory so that students will be able to get used in Japanese life style and manners. The average type of rooms are six Tatamis (Japanese mat) and the kitchen is three Tatamis, and has one bath room with toilet. The dormitory which places close to AIWA Language Institute takes about 3 to 5 minutes by walk, and the far place only takes about 15 to 20 minutes by walk, and about 7 to 8 minutes by bicycle.
How much is the living cost?
In the case of Fukuoka, it cost around 30,000 to 50,000 yen for living expenses per month, 20,000 to 30,000 yen for food expenses, 10,000 to 20,000 yen for miscellaneous expenses. If you save about 60,000 yen it is enough for you to live, but if you want to live enough to spare, you need about 100,000 yen per month.
What should I do if I become ill in Japan?
Since students will be enrolled in the National Health Insurance, 70% of the medical expenses will be paid by the Japanese government. When you feel sick, please consult to the Aiwa school office first. However, the national health insurance fee has to be regularly paid.
I want to know about the student visa.
Those who wish to study for 3 months or more will get student visa.
What are the students doing after graduate from AIWA Language Institute?
Students those who wish to go to higher education can go to university, graduate school and vocational school. After graduating from our school, the students who return to their home countries are also active in various fields and companies which are related to Japan. In addition, after graduating from university, some students work in Japanese companies.
